How it began

We were inspired to create The tiniest WORD church curriculum over 10 years ago, because we had only a few teachers, an even smaller budget, and teachers who frequently wanted to quit.  They gave the following reasons:  feeling overwhelmed, frustration in understanding the curriculum, burned out on ideas, too much time ... 

What began to happend and typically happens especially with the age group of six (6) months to two (2) years old is they are basically baby-sat. We just like many other churches became a babysitting service.  Parents want to know what their children are being taught not only in the school systems but also in the local churches.  Parents and Senior Pastors do not choose nor do they want their children baby-sat during church service.

Prepackaged/reorder curriculum

The "prepackaged/reorder" curriculum does not offer:
  • consitency in structure from lesson to lesson, age appropriate crafts or lessons, props, that can be reused, a five (5) year lesson plan, lessons that can be "shared" with multiple ages, reusable materials, or any REAL training etc.

  • A basic overview for each lesson (ensures consistency with teachers)

Our desire is to help churches stop the cycle of babysitting the tiniest hearts of the future and begin teaching the tiniest hearts the WORD.  The tiniest WORD makes training teachers, crafts, recruiting, teaching the WORD, consistency in your class rooms, happy and attentive children, yearly planning and so much more a breeze!
